Virtual equestrian training allows you to receive real-time coaching from an experienced professional while riding your own horse in your own arena. Using video technology, we watch you ride live and coach you exactly as we would if we were standing in your arena with you… just without the travel.
You’ll set up a PIVO device to follow your ride while streaming live video to your trainer. We coach you in real time, giving immediate feedback on position, feel, rhythm, straightness, and effectiveness. You can ask questions during the lesson and ride just as you would in a traditional session.
For jumping lessons, we pre-set the course or exercise ahead of time. You’ll receive clear instructions on how to build the course, including distances, track, and purpose, before the lesson begins.
This allows us to focus entirely on how you ride the course… rhythm, balance, track, quality of canter, adjustability, and decision-making… rather than stopping to explain fences mid-ride.
During the lesson, we coach you live as you ride the preset course, making adjustments in real time just as we would from the rail. If something needs to change, we keep it simple and intentional so you stay in flow and your horse stays confident.
PIVO is a smart tracking device that rotates automatically to follow you as you ride. It gives your trainer a clear, steady view of your entire ride… no chasing the horse, no missed moments. It’s become a trusted tool for riders and trainers around the country and makes virtual coaching incredibly effective.

That’s it. We’ll help guide you through setup so you feel confident before your first lesson.
We specialize in Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation riders, from developing basics to refining higher-level skills. Our focus is correct flatwork, rideability, confidence, and thoughtful progression for both horse and rider.
Yes… with the right setup. Riders should be able to walk, trot, and canter independently and safely. We also require a responsible adult or ground person present for less experienced riders to ensure safety at all times.
Surprisingly… yes. In many ways, it’s even better. You get: Clear, uninterrupted communication The ability to use your “inside voice” while riding Instant feedback without distraction Video you can review later to reinforce learning Many riders find they progress faster because they’re riding in their normal environment with focused, intentional coaching.
We currently offer live, real-time virtual lessons. Video review options may be added in the future, but live coaching allows us to adjust exercises immediately based on what we see and feel developing in the ride.
Riders are located throughout the continental United States. As long as you have a safe riding space and reliable connectivity, distance doesn’t matter.
We regularly meet riders at the horse shows for focused, supportive coaching in a competition environment. These sessions are perfect for fine-tuning flatwork, preparing for classes, schooling before classes, walking courses together, and helping riders stay grounded, confident, and supported on show day.
Yes! We travel to barns to offer in-person, clinic-style instruction for individuals or small groups. These sessions are ideal for riders who want hands-on guidance, a fresh perspective, and a concentrated learning experience over 2 or 3 days.
Many riders choose a hybrid approach… combining virtual lessons at home with in-person coaching at shows or clinics. It creates continuity, builds trust, and keeps training aligned no matter where you’re riding.
Safety is non-negotiable.
All riders must:
We prioritize smart training, clear communication, and appropriate exercises for each horse and rider combination.
Virtual coaching can be a stand-alone solution or a powerful complement to in-person training. It’s ideal for riders who want:
We don’t teach by the clock… we teach by the horse.
That said, most virtual lessons average about 45 minutes. Some days, a horse tells us they’re finished sooner; other days, we stay with a moment that matters. The goal is always quality, clarity, and ending on a good note… not squeezing into a time box.
Lesson frequency depends on your goals.
Lesson times may be rescheduled as long as changes are made within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson. This structure allows us to stay flexible while respecting everyone’s time… horses and humans included.
